AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) supports children who use little or no spoken language yet. With pictures and symbols a child can still express “drink”, “tired”, or “play”.

Use the board at predictable times: breakfast, bedtime, or transitions. Keep sentences short: tap two symbols and let the device speak the phrase.
